Refund Policy

At By Hand & Flame, LLC, we take great care in handcrafting and curating every item we send out. However, we understand that sometimes things go wrong in transit. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be requested and issued. Please read carefully before submitting a refund request.

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

  • Damaged Packages: If your order arrives visibly damaged or broken, you may request a refund within 3 business days of delivery. Please include clear photographs of the item and packaging.

  • Lost Packages: If your package has not arrived 7 business days after the expected delivery date, we will open an investigation with the carrier and process a refund or reshipment if confirmed lost.

  • Defective Items: If a product is defective or unusable due to an issue in materials or craftsmanship, you may request a refund within 5 business days of receiving your order.

Refunds are not guaranteed and are subject to approval. All eligible refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the request is reviewed and accepted.

Refund Conditions & Exclusions

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Orders delivered to incorrect addresses due to customer error

  • Items that have been opened, used, or altered

  • Requests made outside the allowed timeframes

  • Disliking the scent, color, or energy of a metaphysical item (as these are personal and subjective)

  • Custom spell kits, deity altars, or mystery bundles (unless damaged or lost in transit)

We do not issue partial refunds for bundles or kits with personalization unless the issue directly relates to a damaged or missing component.

How to Request a Refund

To begin the refund process:

  • Fill out the Refund Request Form located directly below this policy.

  • Include your Order Number, reason for the request, and any supporting photos or documentation.

  • We will respond to your request within 3–5 business days and notify you of the decision or next steps.

If your refund is approved, the amount will be returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank’s processing time.
